By downloading, installing, visiting or using AlarmCat, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, stop using the app and delete it.

Service description

AlarmCat is a personal wake-up companion with system alarms, wake-up confirmation, optional math or interaction challenges, Mochi pet interactions, Morning Light points and Home Screen widgets. Features may vary by iOS version, device, region and app version.

Alarm and wake-up limits

Alarm delivery depends on iOS, battery level, system time, permissions, device settings and other conditions outside our control. We do not guarantee that an alarm will work as expected in every device state, focus or silent mode, system update, network condition or other circumstance. Check the time, repeat rule and permissions after saving an alarm, and use an independent backup reminder for important matters.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for using AlarmCat lawfully, keeping your device charged, maintaining accurate system settings and deciding whether the app is suitable for your circumstances. AlarmCat is not a medical, safety, emergency-notification or health service.

In-app content and points

Morning Light points, Mochi’s state and other in-app progress are part of the AlarmCat experience. They are not cash, a payment instrument, a deposit or property, and cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for real-world goods or services. We may adjust, pause or remove related rules or displays.

License and intellectual property

As long as you follow these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable personal license to use AlarmCat on a compatible device that you own or control. AlarmCat’s name, software, interface, text, characters, audio, images, animation and other content belong to AlarmCat or its licensors. Do not copy, modify, sell, distribute, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or create derivative works from AlarmCat unless the law expressly allows it or we give written permission.

Prohibited use

Do not use AlarmCat unlawfully, fraudulently, abusively or in a way that infringes another person’s rights or threatens the security of a device or service. Do not interfere with the service, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code or help another person do so.

Apple and third-party services

AlarmCat relies on Apple’s iOS, system alarm, notification, Widget and optional iCloud or CloudKit capabilities. Those capabilities are subject to Apple’s terms, system rules and privacy policy. Changes, limits, interruptions or unavailability of Apple or other third-party services may be outside our control.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AlarmCat is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely accurate or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the AlarmCat operator is not responsible for missed alarms, data loss, interruption, indirect loss or consequential loss caused by device failure, system scheduling, permissions, user actions, third-party services, network problems or other events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Stopping use and service changes

You may stop using AlarmCat and delete it at any time. We may limit or stop features where reasonably necessary because of a breach, unlawful activity or a risk to users, third parties or service security. Terms that should continue by their nature remain effective after use ends.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when features, services or laws change. The newest version and effective date will appear on this page. If a change materially affects you, we will provide reasonable notice where appropriate. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
