AlarmCat legal

Privacy Policy

AlarmCat is designed to keep your morning routine personal and on your device.

AlarmCat values your privacy. This policy explains how AlarmCat handles information created when you use the app.

What we collect

Alarm settings, wake-up history, Morning Light points, Mochi state and app preferences are primarily stored on your device. You may actively choose to back up or restore these items. Backup data is stored in your private iCloud CloudKit database. AlarmCat does not provide real-time cloud synchronization.

System permissions

  • Alarm permission is used to ring at the time you set.
  • Notification permission is used only for advance reminders that you actively enable.
  • Camera, Photos or Motion permission is used only when the corresponding wake-up feature is enabled and you authorize it.

How information is used

Information is used only to provide alarms, wake-up confirmation, pet feedback and widget content. We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising profiles.

Third-party services

AlarmCat uses system alarm, notification and widget capabilities provided by Apple. Apple’s own privacy policy governs Apple’s processing of data related to those system services.

Your choices

You can change permissions in iPhone Settings at any time. You can stop using AlarmCat and delete the app. If you choose to use iCloud backup, you can manage your iCloud account and storage through Apple’s system settings.

Children’s privacy

AlarmCat is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Policy updates

This policy may be updated when the app’s features or data practices change. The newest effective date will always be shown on this page.
